University of Tilburg, The Netherlands, Master Class on Islam and Violence

Although the title represents this intensive master course as focused on Islam and Violence, this graduate-level seminar covers a much larger range of current issues confronting Islam and Muslims around the world, and presents Dr. Abou El Fadl's school of thought in Islamic law. The students described the course as "life-changing". Here are the links to the video recording of the entire intensive seminar. Each day consists of approximately four hours of lecture in a small class setting. The course was part of the program for Dr. Abou El Fadl, holding the endowed chair in "Islam and Citizenship" at the University of Tilburg, the Netherlands.
